The guild deploys on Saturdays. That is the whole schedule. Everything else on the calendar is preparation for a Saturday, debriefing from a Saturday, or a social held between Saturdays.
Dates are omitted as surplus to requirement. The standing order has not changed since 2017 and will not change on your account.
The Visibility Standout
| Muster | 11:00. Punctual, in a way the rest of the week is not. |
| Terrain | An overpass or a rotary. Selection criteria: sightlines, and parking. |
| Duration | Ninety minutes, hard-capped by lunch |
| Party size | 12–40, weather-dependent |
| Ordnance | Cardboard. Marker. One laminated placard belonging to the person who owns the laminator. |
| Expected XP | 1,200 likes |
| Actual outcome | 0 votes changed. Brunch secured. |
| Respawn | 7 days, indefinitely |
The flagship grind, and the only entry that truly matters, because every other entry exists to service it. Note the two outcome rows. The party tracks the first one.
A month of Saturdays
A typical month offers five of them. Three are committed to a standout well in advance. The remaining two are, on the published calendar, entered as follows:
TBD
| Objective | — |
| Terrain | — |
| Party size | — |
| Expected XP | — |
Two Saturdays are formally reserved for an activity nobody has thought of yet. The slot is booked first and the purpose assigned later. If you want one line explaining the entire operation, it is this entry: the calendar is not a means to an end, it is the end.
The tally
Five Saturdays. Three deployments, two blanks, and not one entry involving a bill, a warrant article, a zoning hearing, a school budget, a select board agenda, or any other body that meets locally and actually votes on something.
That is not laziness. Five Saturdays is a real commitment — real petrol, real folding tables carried in and out of real cars, real hours that could have been spent doing nothing at all. The effort has never been in question.
The schedule simply contains no quest that can be completed. Nothing on it can be struck off, scored, or won — because anything that can be won can also be lost, and an overpass can never be lost. Hold it for ninety minutes and you have held it. The metric is attendance, and attendance is the one thing the party is reliably excellent at.
Convert one Saturday. Any local body, any Tuesday evening, nine people in the room and one of them is you. It is the only quest on this peninsula with a completion condition, and nobody is contesting it.
